les double six

Les Double Six was a French vocal jazz ensemble which released four albums between 1959 and 1964. (The sextet was often double-tracked in the recording studio, hence their name.) After the group disbanded in 1966, some members went on to join the Swingle Singers, which will be featured here in a future post. This may be the sort of jazz that makes people quickly leave the room, but for those who are into it there's much to enjoy.
